DiveCost is an independent project built on a simple frustration: nobody could tell you what diving actually costs before you showed up at the shop.
Search 'fun dive Koh Tao' and you'll find a dozen different numbers — old blog posts, marketing rates, reseller margins. None of them tell you the all-in price you'll really pay once gear, insurance, fees and tax are added. That gap between the advertised price and the real price is exactly what DiveCost closes.
We're not a booking site, an agency, or a magazine. We're a comparison layer: we collect verified, all-in prices from certified dive centers' own websites, date them, and lay them side by side so you can decide with your eyes open.
The data improves every time someone flags a wrong price. The more divers use DiveCost, the more accurate it gets — that's the whole idea.
